This course looks at organ and tissue donation as a component of end of life care and your role as a funeral professional. ​ The first module specifically looks at organ and tissue donation as a component of pre-planned funeral discussions and your role as an advocate. ​ The second module delves into understanding and managing the impact of organ and tissue recovery.

• To provide funeral professionals with the knowledge necessary to: ​

• Advocate the opportunity for organ and tissue donation with their clients; ​
• Advise on steps the client can take to obtain additional information and steps they can take to ensure their donation wishes are supported. ​
